The sabbatical and study leave systems at the University of Al-Qadisiyah offer faculty members and researchers dedicated periods to conduct advanced research and earn professional degrees within reputable international academic institutions.
Types of Leaves
- Academic Sabbatical Leave: Granted to faculty members to pursue collaborative research at universities and research centers abroad for one academic year, renewable according to regulations.
- Study Leave: Granted to university staff to pursue higher degrees (Higher Diploma, Master’s, or Ph.D.).
Forms & Application Requirements
- Standard Sabbatical / Study Leave Application Form.
- Proposed research project plan and formal invitation/acceptance letter from host institution.
- Departmental and College Board recommendation and administrative clearance.
- Final approval from the University Council and issuance of the official university decree.
